| Rest in peace, Mr. Joe Chan.
The first local band party, I had been to when I was still in primary school during the late 60's was hosted by Joe Chan and his band Manace. There was also another band with the Manace that night but I had forgotten the name of the group. Manace had a big hit during that time, "Starwberry Sundae". They played that song more than once in the party.
I was also a big fan of his radio show in the 70's. Met him a few time in the late 70's and early 80's. I had told him that he was my favour DJ beside Sam Jor and he shook my hand dearly.
My deepest condolence to his family, may God rest his soul.
